Our Story

Mad Horse Tattoo is a high-caliber, custom tattoo shop located in the heart of Quakertown, Pennsylvania; conceived in December of 2020 by owner and award-winning artist Dan Schmiedel with one goal in mind: quality.
A far cry from the “old time biker shops”, the Mad Horse Tattoo vision is a comfortable, inclusive space where we strive to make any and all clients feel welcome.
Our artists are constantly growing and pushing themselves to their full potential through continuing education in the tattoo industry.
At Mad Horse Tattoo, we take pride in everything we do and it shows in the work we produce. Our tools and practices are a reflection of our dedication to quality in every aspect of tattoo art; we only use the BEST inks, needles, and tools the industry has to offer to ensure the highest caliber tattoo possible every single time.
